Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rorion Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clyde Morse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to AC/DC - Hells Bells. Clyde Morse is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rorion Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Clyde Morse! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Morse shows good takedown defense. Gracie avoids the head kick by Morse.
Morse stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Morse wants it to stay on the feet. Clyde Morse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morse changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but Morse manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Morse throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gracie's waist but Gracie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Morse off to one side. Gracie fails with the takedown and Morse counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Morse. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rorion Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie is looking for a triangle but Morse pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie wants to sweep here but Morse controlling him for the moment. Gracie looking to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Morse passes Gracie's left leg - he's now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morse missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Morse pulls his head out easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie is looking for a sweep. Morse is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Gracie is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie trying to hold on to Morse's head to control him but Morse postures up.
Gracie tries to roll over but Morse keeps him under control. Morse stalling. Gracie keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Morse fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gracie manages to avoid it. Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Morse counters with a series of strikes. Gracie will be more careful next time no doubt. Morse feints and as Gracie raises his hands in defense, Morse changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Morse looks gassed! Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Morse is aware though and is defending well. Gracie working a defensive guard here.
Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gracie is working hard here to advance position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clyde Morse dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Morse moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Gracie has Morse up against the cage in a clinch.
Morse tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gracie just stands there and leans against the cage. Morse stops a takedown attempt from Gracie.
Morse breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Morse misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gracie with a lazy takedown attempt and Morse counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gracie's guard now. Morse is breathing heavily. Morse trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom. Gracie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morse postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Morse is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gracie working for a submission but Morse is keeping him at bay. Morse is in a horrible position here. Gracie smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Morse is looking to get to half guard. Gracie working the ground and pound effectively.
Gracie lands a heavy elbow. Morse is looking to improve his position but Gracie isn't that keen on the idea. Morse bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morse won't allow Gracie to get back to his feet. Gracie has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Morse manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gracie has gone for a leg lock! Morse slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gracie's guard. Gracie looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Morse stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gracie looking for a sweep. Not yet Gracie, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clyde Morse showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Gracie shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Morse does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Morse defends it well. Gracie not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Morse is looking for a sweep. Gracie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Morse takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gracie missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie tries to pass to full mount but Morse defends it. Gracie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Morse wants to control but Gracie is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Gracie connects with a looping right hand.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt and Morse counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Morse trying to mount his opponent but Gracie defends it. Morse working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Morse thows a big elbow that misses. Morse being controlled here momentarily. Gracie is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Morse is controlling him. Morse trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morse pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now. Morse is fighting to break Gracie's control of his arms but Gracie is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Clyde Morse has got the better of the ground game so far. Morse preventing the sweep. Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Morse manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Morse is working an open guard so Gracie takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Gracie closes the distance and clinches. Gracie is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Morse pulls him back up using the underhooks. Morse has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Gracie wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rorion Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morse keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gracie's efforts to push away. Gracie breaks from the clinch.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Morse.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rorion Gracie. I think Morse has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
