Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rich Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexey Bakharev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bakharev's choice of entrance music: Hatebreed - Live For This. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rich Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexey Bakharev!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakharev misses with a takedown attempt - Brown sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Bakharev counters with a nice double leg into side control. Brown won't be happy with that.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Brown escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bakharev gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Alexey Bakharev showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Well Bakharev has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
