The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tevez fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tevez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Slice content to stall in guard here.
Slice drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tevez dives on top into guard.
Slice looking to control.
Slice looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Slice working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tevez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tevez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Slice is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Slice is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Tevez frees his head nicely. Oh but Slice has switched to an armbar! Tevez is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
