Jokinen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Itaniemi digs a good body shot into Jokinen's ribs.
A slow jab from Itaniemi misses its intended target.
Itaniemi connects with a high kick.
It looks like Ossi Jokinen has been cut.
Jokinen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Itaniemi slips a straight right by Jokinen.
Jokinen throws a big shot that misses.
Itaniemi darts in trying to clinch
and Jokinen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Itaniemi swings away with a body shot that misses
and Jokinen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jokinen throws a body punch but Itaniemi moves out of range.
Jokinen dips to his left and cracks Itaniemi with an uppercut!
It looks like Urho Itaniemi has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Itaniemi misses with a body punch
and Jokinen counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Itaniemi off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Jokinen follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Itaniemi was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ossi Jokinen!
