The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cifer Jr takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cifer Jr closes the distance and clinches.
Thai is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cifer Jr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lou Cifer Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cifer Jr moves into the clinch.
Cifer Jr wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Thai has him pressed against the cage.
Thai lands an elbow just above Cifer Jr 's eye.
It looks like Lou Cifer Jr has been cut.
Thai misses with a knee strike.

Thai lands a big head kick that sends Cifer Jr tumbling to the mat! Thai takes a step backwards and waves Cifer Jr back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cifer Jr shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cifer Jr was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Cifer Jr can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Thai is looking to escape.

Cifer Jr has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Thai's face.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Cifer Jr! Thai is hurt baaadly! Cifer Jr is firing away with more strikes - Thai is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
