Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allen comes into the arena with The Realest Sport blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Angus Jones! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off. Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jones tries to bum rush Allen with a series of wild strikes but Allen uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Allen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Jones tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Allen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jones is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Allen is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Jones is working to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Allen tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Allen is just out of range. Jones thows a body shot but no joy. Allen slips a straight right by Jones. Angus Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Allen defending well as Jones loads up on a big left hand. Allen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Jones tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Allen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Allen stands up and beckons Jones to his feet. Jones throws a nice looking combination but Allen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Allen gets the takedown into side control. Jones looks gassed! Jones is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Allen is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Jones is desperately trying to improve his position but Allen has a good base and remains in mount. Allen looking to control and managing it successfully. Jones is looking to improve his position but Allen isn't that keen on the idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen is standing up, even though he is in mount. Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Allen manages to avoid it. Allen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away. Allen forces Jones back against the cage and clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jones taking a breather. Allen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Allen is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Allen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones prevents a takedown attempt there.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Allen. Jones is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Allen is keeping busy. Allen tries to score a body lock takedown but Jones shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Jones is trying to force a seperation but Allen has the dominant position. Allen is trying to trip Jones. He has hold of a leg but Jones is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Allen persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Jones throws his legs up looking for a submission but Allen uses it to pass to side control.
Allen stands up and we're back to a striking position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Allen dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Allen moves into range and clinches up with Jones. Allen has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jones regains guard immediately. Allen gets to his feet. Jones looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Allen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Allen drives through with a takedown into guard. Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jones is breathing heavily. Allen stands up from Jones's guard - Allen perhaps looking for a knockout. Allen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen defending well as Jones loads up on a big left hand. A punch lands to the side of Allen 's head but he takes it in his stride. Allen has closed the distance and engaged Jones in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Jones's face as he tries to break the clinch. Allen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Allen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. No luck with that takedown attempt from Allen. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Allen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Allen gets a clinch. Allen has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jones uses from the top position. Jonesis looking to pass into half guard but Allen pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Allen is in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones is working an open guard so Allen takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Allen closes the distance and pushes Jones back into the cage. Jones working hard to break the clinch. Jones is trying to break the clinch but Allen has him pressed against the cage. Allen has picked Jones up - he's going for a ride! Allen dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Allen postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Jones to stand up. Allen tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range. Allen doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Allen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Allen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Allen tries to clinch up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen looks for a takedown but Jones sprawls well. Allen tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones throws his legs up looking for a submission but Allen uses it to pass to side control.
Allen decides to stand back up. Allen steps back and let's Jones get back to his feet. Jones is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Allen rather than just go for the knockout. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Allen fails with an attempt to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Allen dominated that second round. That's time! Allen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Allen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jones is trying to get back to full guard. Allen stands up out of the half guard. Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Allen moves away. Allen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Allen gets slowly back to his feet. Allen takes the fight into the clinch. Allen fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jones has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen goes for a takedown attempt but Jones pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Allen. That's going to take a lot out of him. A swing and a miss from Jones. Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Allen. Allen gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jones working hard to break the clinch. Allen prevents a body shot from Jones. Allen tries for a takedown but Jones manages to get underhooks.
Allen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jones pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jones swings for the body but Allen moves out of range.
Jason Allen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Allen clinches up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Allen looking for a takedown. Jones manages to break the clinch.
A combination from Jones does no damage. Allen looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Allen won't allow Jones to sweep him here. Jones has an active guard here but Allen has managed to pass into half guard.
Jones tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Allen has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen controlling from the full mount. Jones keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Allen is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Angus Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Allen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jones! Allen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Jason Allen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jones is desperately trying to improve his position but Allen has a good base and remains in mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Allen showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Allen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
