Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paxa Scar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josip Cengic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cengic comes into a darkened arena with his song building. youre going down kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Paxa Scar looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cengic shoots and misses

and Scar counters with a single leg into guard. Cengic didn't expect that.

Cengic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Scar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cengic tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Scar wants to pass the guard but Cengic is keeping the position.

Scar is breathing heavily.

Cengic is doing well to control the position and prevent Scar from advancing to side control.
Scar prevents Cengic from standing back up.
Cengic is looking to improve his position.
Scar is trying to control the action in half guard but Cengic is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Cengic wants to control but Scar is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Scar decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

and Cengic counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Cengic slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Cengic stands and steps away. Scar gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Cengic changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Scar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Cengic cracks Scar with a big right hand but Scar just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Scar tries to improve position but can't.
Cengic creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Cengic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Scar keeps working.
Scar wants to control but Cengic postures up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cengic tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cengic has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Scar throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Cengic fails with the takedown

and Scar counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Cengic tries to score a body lock takedown but Scar shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Paxa Scar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josip Cengic.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cengic drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Scar gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Scar drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cengic pulls his leg out and moves away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Scar is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Scar is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Cengic dives into side control.

Cengic goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Scar rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Cengic's guard! Nice work there by Scar!

Scar is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Cengic has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Scar is looking to defend but Cengic has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Scar! Cengic pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Scar taps out and this one is all over!
