Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pit Jonson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Lesnar! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar throws a series of strikes that have Jonson backpedaling.
It looks like Pit Jonson has been cut. Jonson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lesnar! Lesnar is trying to stand. Jonson prevents Lesnar from getting the reversal. Jonson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Lesnar tries to lock up and control but Jonson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jonson controlling the pace for now. Jonson lands a big shot there that rocks Lesnar but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That has opened up Brock Lesnar's cut even more.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar is trying desperately to improve position. Jonson looking to control and managing it successfully. Lesnar tries to hold on but Jonson postures up. Jonson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Lesnar because Jonson loaded up on that one. Jonson controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Poor strikes thrown by Jonson there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Jonson controlling the position easily from mount. Lesnar tries to reverse the position but Jonson maintains control. Jonson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lesnar's face.
The cut above Brock Lesnar's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Jonson content just to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jonson looking to ground and pound but Lesnar is blocking nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lesnar is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Lesnar is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Lesnar gets back to half guard. Jonson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Lesnar is trying to stand back up but Jonson is controlling him
Lesnar regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Jonson. Lesnar scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jonson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jonson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jonson. Jonson tries to keep at a distance but Lesnar has taken the fight into the clinch. Jonson takes an elbow to the forehead. Lesnar tries to break the clinch but Jonson is controlling the position. Jonson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lesnar prevents it.

Lesnar looks gassed! Lesnar lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lesnar scores a nice knee to the body.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pit Jonson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jonson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Lesnar's efforts to push away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Brock Lesnar will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jonson shoots for a double leg takedown but Lesnar sprawls well. He's pushed Jonson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jonson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lesnar tries to avoid it but Jonson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lesnar to the ground. Lesnar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lesnar connects with a looping right hand.
Jonson is rocked! Lesnar closes the distance looking for a takedown. Lesnar picks Jonson up and slams him brutally to the floor. Jonson is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Brock Lesnar! Brock Lesnar is the new heavyweight champion!
