Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Don Dada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Don Dada! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, BJ Penn! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dada shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Penn's guard. Dada stopping the sweep attempt from Penn. Penn utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dada really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dada throwing strikes but missing. Dada throwing strikes but missing. Penn wants to sweep here but Dada controlling him for the moment. Penn keeping moving, preventing Dada from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dada drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dada jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dada working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Penn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Dada shoots in but Penn avoids the takedown attempt easily. Dada fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Dada. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dada fails with the takedown. Dada fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Penn avoids it really well and circles away. Penn scores with a takedown into Dada's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dada looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Penn wants to control from the top but Dada keeps moving. Dada is pulling down on Penn's head to control his posture. Penn postures up.

Penn loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dada throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Penn with a nice head shot there. Dada is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Penn defends well. Dada has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dada is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Penn is aware though and is defending well. Dada is breathing heavily. Dada looking for a guillotine here but Penn defends easily.
Penn gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. A head kick misses from Penn. Dada doesn't succeed with the takedown and Penn holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Penn is pressed up against the cage. Dada has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Penn down to the mat. Penn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Dada shoots and misses and Penn counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dada won't be happy with that. Penn working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Dada regains half guard, as Penn was trying to land strikes. Dada actively working from the bottom here. Dada looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Penn is looking to take a break and control but Dada is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dada landing strikes from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but BJ Penn will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Dada shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Penn counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Dada looking for submissions off his back. Dada on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dada keeps control of the position for the meantime. Penn is keen to just control but Dada is a slippery customer. Dada manages to get to full guard.
Dada will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dada is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Penn is aware though and is defending well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dada keeping moving, preventing Penn from controlling successfully. Dada isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Penn stacks Dada on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Penn! Penn scoring with punches from side control. Penn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dada keeps working. Dada throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Dada wants to control but Penn postures up. Dada tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Penn wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Penn working away. Dada wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Penn with a poor takedown and Dada counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dada trying to control the position from guard on top but Penn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dada throws a strike but Penn rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Dada escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Penn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Penn tries to free his leg and advance position but Dada is retaining full guard. Penn thows a big elbow that misses. Dada tries to strike from the bottom.
Don Dada overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dada is looking for a triangle but Penn pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Penn postures up.
Dada bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Penn's guard. Penn has his feet on Dada's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Dada shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Penn counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Penn. Penn is sitting in close to Dada's body. Dada has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Penn is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Penn is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Dada.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Don Dada! Don Dada is the new welterweight champion!
