Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pasqualito Cortes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isamu Takeru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Isamu Takeru enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeru shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cortes sprawls well. Cortes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Takeru gets slowly back to his feet.
Takeru fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Takeru fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cortes sprawls well initially but Takeru persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Takeru really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cortes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Takeru tries to free his leg and advance position but Cortes is retaining full guard.

Takeru postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Takeru's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cortes throws a nice outside leg kick.
Cortes lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Cortes closes the distance and clinches up with Takeru, looking for a takedown. Cortes pushes Takeru against the cage but Takeru circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cortes throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Takeru was covering up waiting for the punch and Cortes finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cortes gets to his feet. Takeru looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Takeru avoids a punch combination nicely.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Takeru wants to stand and escape but instead Cortes has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Takeru wants to control the position but Cortes says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Cortes is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Takeru!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee warns Takeru that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's time! Cortes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Takeru gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Cortes wants to pass the guard but Takeru is keeping the position.

Cortes stands and steps away. Takeru gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Takeru closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cortes did well to prevent Takeru getting side control.

Takeru is looking to take a break and control but Cortes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cortes is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Takeru's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Takeru's back!
