Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luke Halloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Folito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halloway comes into the arena with AFI- Prelude 12/21 blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ray Folito!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halloway shoots in and bounces Folito off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Folito looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Halloway throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Folito works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Halloway lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Halloway would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Halloway wants to control from the top but Folito keeps moving.

Halloway drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Folito manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Halloway has Folito in his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Folito looking to sit in guard and control but Halloway gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Halloway accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Folito takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Halloway seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Folito drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Folito seems to have locked his on tight now - Halloway screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Folito, as he picks up the win!
