Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sun Shine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Riformato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riformato has chosen psycho as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Sun Shine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Riformato!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shine throws a sloppy head kick and Riformato moves out of range easily.
Riformato lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shine at a distance.
Shine misses with a head kick.
Shine displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Riformato.
Riformato shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shine as he jumps to the side.
Shine defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Riformato.
Sun Shine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Riformato.
Riformato chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Shine can pounce on him.
Riformato takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Shine rushes Riformato and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Riformato goes for a takedown attempt but Shine pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A head kick misses from Shine.
Riformato is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Shine is looking to slow Riformato down with leg kicks.
Shine lands with a hook. Riformato tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Riformato closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Riformato lands in his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Riformato is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Shine is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Shine has escaped and now he's on top!

Riformato manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shine manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Riformato drops back, looking for a kneebar! Shine looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Shine looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Shine!
Riformato is trying to get back to half guard.
Riformato pushes Shine away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Shine gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Shine wants to stand but Riformato is controlling his arm.
Riformato gets back to half guard.

Riformato is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Shine pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Riformato looks gassed!
Shine tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Riformato.

Riformato is pressing down on Shine's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Riformato is looking for a triangle but Shine pushes his legs off easily.

Shine got a little sloppy there for a moment and Riformato has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shine has managed to get both his arms back between Riformato's legs - danger averted.
Riformato is working an open guard so Shine takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Riformato closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Shine to the mat! Shine manages to get full guard.
Riformato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shine swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sun Shine will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Riformato looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Shine ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sun Shine is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Shine looks to land a left hand but Riformato moved out of range nicely.
Sun Shine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shine connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Riformato momentarily.
Shine bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Shine has closed the distance and engaged Riformato in a clinch.
Shine lands a damaging elbow.
Shine throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Riformato blocks it with crossed arms.
Riformato fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Shine trying to control the position but instead, Riformato has worked for underhooks and has pushed Shine into the ropes.

Riformato has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Shine is trying to keep an underhook but Riformato manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Riformato moves into full mount! Shine won't be happy about that!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Shine is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Riformato tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Riformato throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Riformato moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Shine has worked his arm free - good work by Shine!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Riformato's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Riformato goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Shine has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Riformato but great work by Shine.

Riformato dives in and grabs Shine's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shine pushes down on Riformato's head and hops out.

Shine turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Riformato off and cradles Shine's limp body as Riformato celebrates with his corner.
