Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyka comes into the arena with Rob Rock - I'm A Warrior blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boyka as he avoids it easily. Johnson lands with a kick to the temple. Boyka shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Uri Boyka has been cut. A clash of legs there as Johnson blocks the low kick. Johnson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boyka moves away. Boyka misses with a low kick as Johnson jumps back. Johnson throws a nice looking combination but Boyka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Boyka misses with a low kick as Johnson jumps back. Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Johnson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Johnson looks to land a combination but Boyka avoids it well. Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boyka moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Boyka tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Johnson counters with a left and a right that stings Boyka. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Johnson.
Boyka closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Boyka stands up. Johnson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Boyka counters with a nice double leg into guard. Johnson looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyka postures up.
Boyka is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Boyka in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Johnson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

He's being very persistent here but Johnson manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Johnson stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Good work by Johnson as he checks the leg kick. A head kick misses from Johnson. The fight moves into the clinch position. Johnson throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Johnson stops Boyka from standing up. Boyka kicks Johnson off and gets to his feet. Boyka scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Mark Johnson has been cut. Boyka drives through with a takedown into guard. Johnson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Boyka puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyka looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Boyka knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground. Boyka lands strikes from half guard. Boyka is pressing down on Johnson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Johnson is holding on for now. Johnson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boyka pulls his head out easily. Johnson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Boyka seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Johnson has hold of Boyka's hands but Boyka slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Johnson is trying to stand back up but Boyka is controlling him

Boyka lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Boyka wants to control but Johnson is keeping him busy. Boyka sitting and controlling from the half guard. Nice strikes from Boyka there. Boyka trying to control from half guard but Johnson is working away. Boyka is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Boyka lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johnson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Uri Boyka will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Johnson throws a push kick but Boyka slaps the foot to one side. Boyka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnson as he jumps to the side. Boyka shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Johnson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Boyka has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Boyka slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Johnson. Johnson is refusing to be controlled, as Boyka sits in half guard. Johnson wants to improve his position but Boyka is controlling well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Johnson throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Boyka is keen to just control but Johnson is a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyka not landing any meaningful shots this time. Johnson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Boyka scores with a couple of nice shots. Boyka working Johnson over with strikes.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Johnson tries to clinch up and Boyka counters with a shoot takedown. Johnson fights it but they end up in guard. Boyka trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Boyka defends well. Boyka chips away with some ground and pound. Boyka postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Johnson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Boyka won't allow Johnson to get back to his feet. Johnson can't keep his opponent in guard - Boyka advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Boyka lands a nice short elbow. Boyka is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Johnson defends it well. Johnson is looking to escape. Johnson looking for a kimura from the bottom but Boyka passes into side control! Boyka slows the pace down. Boyka's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Uri Boyka overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Johnson pushes Boyka off looking to stand but Boyka dives back in and keeps control.

It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Boyka escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Boyka! Johnson takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Johnson taking punishment in the form of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boyka working the ground and pound from side control. Boyka cracks Johnson with an elbow. That is naaassty. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson tries to bench press Boyka off him but Boyka keeps the position. Boyka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working. Boyka moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Boyka has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Boyka stands up and beckons Johnson to his feet. Boyka moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Uri Boyka dominated that second round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Boyka moves into the clinch. Johnson breaks the clinch.
Johnson throws a nice inside leg kick. Boyka shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Johnson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Boyka's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Boyka's back! Johnson avoiding Boyka 's attempts to control his hands. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Johnson looking for the RNC.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyka trying to control the position but Johnson manages to sink in the hooks. Boyka manages to reverse the position and now he's in Johnson's guard. Nice work there by Boyka.
Boyka would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Johnson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Johnson wants to stand and escape but Boyka is having none of it. Boyka landing some decent shots from guard. Boyka wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Johnson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Johnson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Boyka decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Johnson's guard. Johnson wants to get back to his feet but Boyka is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Johnson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boyka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boyka manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyka postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Mark Johnson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boyka content to stall in guard here.

Boyka shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Boyka was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Johnson slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Johnson tries to get to full guard but Boyka has control of the leg. Boyka is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Johnson has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Boyka seems content to control. Boyka is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Johnson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Boyka is controlling him. Uri Boyka is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boyka stands up and waves to Johnson to follow him. Johnson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Boyka counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Boyka. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Johnson wants to stand but Boyka is controlling the position. Boyka gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Uri Boyka showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Boyka, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
