The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki takes a swing at Morton's ribcage but misses.
Morton ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Morton thuds a left hand into Aoki's body.
Morton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Aoki wants to clinch.
Aoki throws a head kick but Morton moves out of range.
Aoki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Morton is fending him off so far but Aoki persists. Nope, Morton circles away and we're back to standing.
Aoki takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Aoki looks gassed!
Morton connects with a single shot there.
Morton drops Aoki with a nice combination! Morton dives into Aoki's guard, looking to finish!

Aoki is rocked!

It looks like Shinya Aoki has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Morton gets to his feet - Aoki follows without any prompting.
Morton throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Aoki seems to have recovered his senses.
Aoki misses with a takedown attempt - Morton sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Morton is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Aoki hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
