Milovan Rakic told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Milovan Rakic has been cut.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Perez defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Rakic.

Perez wants to control but Rakic is having none of it.
Perez on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Perez tries to get out of the position.

Perez is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rakic is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Rakic is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Perez has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Perez wants to control but Rakic is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rakic quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Rakic but it's paid off an Perez is forced to tap! Nice work by Rakic.
