Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose The Devil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby McGee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose The Devil! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Devil shoots for a takedown but McGee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A punch combination from McGee misses. The Devil shoots in but McGee avoids the takedown attempt easily. McGee darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. McGee tries to pass the half guard into mount. The Devil knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. McGee is working hard here to advance position. McGee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. McGee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but The Devil does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. The Devil gets caught flat footed, as McGee shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. McGee drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but The Devil manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now McGee has The Devil in his guard. McGee is breathing heavily. The Devil postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The Devil tries to free his leg and advance position but McGee is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells The Devil's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The Devil postures up in McGee's guard and throws a big left but McGee blocks it. McGee has his foot on The Devil's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The Devil works his way back into a safe position though. McGee thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. The Devil postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. McGee has momentary wrist control but The Devil slips an elbow through the middle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Devil lands a couple of decent looking shots. The Devil working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of McGee's head. The Devil trying to control the position from guard on top but McGee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McGee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The Devil postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The Devil gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. The Devil throws a series of strikes that have McGee backpedaling.
McGee shoots in and drives through. The Devil sprawls well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Devil throws a nice looking combination but McGee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The Devil is looking to clinch but McGee is avoiding it.

Excellent takedown into side control there by McGee. McGee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. The Devil knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. McGee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McGee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The Devil parries the strikes from McGee easily there. McGee is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable The Devil to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McGee advances to mount. McGee can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as The Devil is looking to escape. McGee moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, The Devil has worked his arm free - good work by The Devil!

That was a close round but I would say that Bobby McGee will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

McGee stuffs the takedown attempt from The Devil. The Devil gets slowly back to his feet. McGee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McGee shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McGee showed some decent athleticism there. The Devil is looking to control McGee's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can The Devil avoid being mounted? McGee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. McGee trying to control but The Devil is working from the bottom. The Devil bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McGee's guard. McGee is trying to control the position but The Devil postures up. McGee is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. The Devil is aware though and is defending well. McGee looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. McGee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but The Devil avoids it really well and circles away. McGee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. McGee thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The Devil tries to get to full guard but McGee has control of the leg. McGee is looking for a kimura but The Devil is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McGee to get the leverage. McGee wants to control but The Devil is keeping him busy.

Bobby McGee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose The Devil. McGee tightens his grip and picks The Devil up, before dumping him to the ground. The Devil manages to land in guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. McGee preventing the sweep. McGee throws a strike but The Devil rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The Devil wants to get up but he can't break McGee's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. McGee doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
McGee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. The Devil gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The Devil chips away with some ground and pound. The Devil thows a big elbow that misses. The Devil trying to stand up but can't free himself from McGee's guard. The Devil keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of McGee's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The Devil scoring with punches to the head and body.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. McGee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but The Devil swivels and escapes. McGee misses with a few strikes there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. McGee is controlling The Devil's position as best he can from this difficult position. McGee avoiding damage under a succession of punches from The Devil. Ground and pound from The Devil. McGee is doing well to control the position and prevent The Devil from advancing to side control. Jose The Devil has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! McGee is trying to maintain the position but The Devil is very close to passing his half guard. McGee won't allow The Devil to pass to mount.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. The Devil misses with a takedown and McGee counters with a nice double leg into half guard. McGee looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
And that's the end of the fight! Bobby McGee showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for McGee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
