Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Val David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonny Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tonny Hansen! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hansen has closed the distance and engaged David in a clinch.
Hansen can't break the clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Hansen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. David jumps guard.
David lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hansen! David can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hansen is looking to escape. Hansen blocking the ground and pound. David throws some wild stikes that Hansen manages to avoid easily.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. David controlling the position easily from mount. David breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hansen wants to clinch. Hansen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hansen shoots in for a takedown but David shows good takedown defense. Hansen closes the distance and lands a one-two. Hansen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

David throws a combination that misses letting Hansen counter with a right hand. Hansen blocks a leg kick. David shoots in looking for a takedown. Hansen tries to sprawl out of it but David keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hansen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tonny Hansen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hansen takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hansen takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Excellent takedown into side control there by Hansen. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hansen throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Val David will probably get the nod. That's time! David's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
David looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Hansen clinches up with David and pushes him back against the cage. David tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hansen smiles and moves away.
David looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hansen is fending him off so far but David persists. Nope, Hansen circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Val David. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hansen digs a good hook to David's body.

Hansen clinches up with David and pushes him back against the cage. David tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hansen smiles and moves away.
Hansen scores with a one two! David had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Hansen closes the distance but David moves to the side and David counters with a flying knee. Nice. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hansen tries to clinch but fails miserably and David counters with a body kick. David wants to clinch up but Hansen keeps it at a distance. Hansen tries to grapple but his opponent circles and David counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hansen's knee momentarily. David misses with a combination
and Hansen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. David pulls Hansen into guard.
Hansen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of David is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. David is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Hansen is looking to stand up but David won't let him. David is trying to control the position from the bottom.
David keeping moving, preventing Hansen from controlling successfully. David wants to sweep but no luck. Hansen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with David. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hansen tries to stand but David is controlling from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A punch lands to the side of David 's head but he takes it in his stride. David tries to close the distance and clinch but Hansen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hansen throws a nice looking combination but David bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hansen throws a series of punches but David avoids them all with ease. David shoots in but no luck this time. Hansen wants to clinch but David slips to the side and David counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by David. David throws a big right hand that misses. David trying to control the position from guard on top but Hansen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hansen has control of David's left arm, preventing David from doing any damage.

David is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hansen keeping full guard, as David tries to pass. David tries to stand but Hansen is controlling from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hansen can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close second round but I would say that Val David will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Hansen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but David has him pressed against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Hansen's face as he tries to break the clinch. David postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. David trying to control but Hansen is working from the bottom. Hansen wants to stand and escape but David is having none of it. Hansen keeping full guard, as David tries to pass. Hansen has David pulled in close to control his posture.

Tonny Hansen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Val David is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
