Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sir Topham Hatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hatt has chosen . as his entrance music. The key to victory for Danny Knight has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Knight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sir Topham Hatt! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knight scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Knight ducks under a wild hook from Hatt. Knight cracks Hatt with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Sir Topham Hatt has been cut. A combination from Knight does no damage. Hatt misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Knight.
Hatt bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Knight takes the fight into the clinch. Knight swings wildly with an uppercut but Hatt uses good head movement to avoid it. Hatt is trying to force a seperation but Knight has the dominant position. Knight pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Good exchange - Hatt coming out on top. Hatt takes one on the chin but seems OK.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Knight closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Knight working some nice short punches in the clinch. Knight is struggling to control the position. Hatt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Knight looks to score with a jab to the body but Hatt is just out of range. Hatt misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hatt drives through with a takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Knight controls Hatt momentarily but Hatt frees himself. Knight looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hatt is one step ahead there. Knight avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hatt throws and elbow that misses. Knight uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hatt's guard. Nice move by Knight! Knight trying to control the position from guard on top but Hatt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knight got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hatt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Knight has managed to get both his arms back between Hatt's legs - danger averted. Knight wants to control from the top but Hatt keeps moving. Knight slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Knight trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Knightis looking to pass into half guard but Hatt pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Hatt is in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hatt working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hatt trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Knight working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hatt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hatt tries to free his leg and advance position but Knight is retaining full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hatt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hatt misses with a jab to the body
and Hatt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A punch lands to the side of Hatt 's head but he takes it in his stride. Knight jabs at Hatt's body. Knight throws a hook but Hatt blocks it. Knight swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hatt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Knight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hatt throws a lazy right hand but Knight sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Knight tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hatt paws at him with a jab and circles away. Knight with a jab. Hatt keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Knight. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That has opened up Sir Topham Hatt's cut even more. Knight defending well as Hatt loads up on a big left hand. Knight is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hatt swings and misses with a shot to the body enabling Knight to counter with a crisp jab. Knight jabs Hatt right on the nose. Hatt blinks but takes it well. Knight swinging wildly here.

Hatt throws an overhand right that lands on Knight's shoulder, as Knight tries to avoid the shot. Knight jabs Hatt right on the nose. Hatt blinks but takes it well. Hatt keeps the fight on the outside. Knight scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hatt doesn't seem bothered though. Hatt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Knight. Hatt walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Knight is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hatt can do to turn this around? Knight connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hatt. Hatt circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Knight clinches with his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Knight dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Knight throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hatts head. Knight breaks the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hatt fails to pull guard.

Knight is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nice shot by Knight. Knight fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hatt looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Hatt misses the shot to the body. Knight cracks Hatt with a right hand to the side of the head. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hatt is defended easily by Knight. That's one minute gone in the round. Hatt winds up and cracks Knight with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Hatt thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Knight's head. Knight wants to get back to full guard. Hatt thows a huge punch but Knight dodges it nicely.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Knight fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hatt misses with a shot to the body letting Knight counter with a right hand. Hatt lands with a right hand. Nice sprawl there from Knight as Hatt shoots in. And that's the end of the fight! Danny Knight showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Knight, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
