3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fred Prateado! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pekkarinen misses with a wild body shot. Pekkarinen is looking to clinch but Prateado is avoiding it.
Pekkarinen throws a hook but Prateado avoids it easily. Mauri Pekkarinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Prateado shoots in looking for a takedown. Pekkarinen tries to sprawl out of it but Prateado keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pekkarinen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
