Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Disisto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric DeSimone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Disisto comes into the arena with thunder kiss blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Disisto swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Disisto fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

DeSimone closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Disisto is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. DeSimone doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Disisto.

DeSimone has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
DeSimone shoots in for a double leg but Disisto sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
DeSimone throws a series of punches but Disisto avoids them all with ease.
Disisto misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Disisto tries to clinch but DeSimone is having none of it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Disisto bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Disisto wants to control but DeSimone is keeping him busy.

Disisto winds up and cracks DeSimone with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Disisto is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, DeSimone has managed to free his arm - good work.
Disisto is stalling here. DeSimone is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Disisto seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and DeSimone has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

DeSimone has hold of Disisto's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Disisto seems comfortable defending it but DeSimone has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Disisto is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Disisto is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but DeSimone couldn't care less - he's delighted!
