Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joey Shabadoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felton Schupt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schupt comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Ramones - I wanna be sedated kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shabadoo swats away the attempt to clinch by Schupt.
Shabadoo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Shabadoo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Schupt.
Schupt tries to close the distance and clinch but Shabadoo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Schupt misses with a hook.
Schupt doesn't manage to clinch there - Shabadoo circles away.
Shabadoo jabs Schupt right on the nose. Schupt blinks but takes it well.
Shabadoo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Shabadoo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Schupt is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shabadoo, into his guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Schupt has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Shabadoo is proving hard to escape from.

Shabadoo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Schupt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Shabadoo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Schupt is aware though and is defending well.
Schupt wants to stand but Shabadoo has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Schupt might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Schupt takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Shabadoo is nestled in close to Schupt, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Shabadoo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Schupt is trying to defend but Shabadoo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Shabadoo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Schupt for as long as he can get away with.
Shabadoo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shabadoo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
