Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damon King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Canadian Saint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by Don't Underestimate ME!!. Damon King has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damon King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Canadian Saint!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Saint tries to avoid it but King manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Saint to the ground. Saint escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
King staying out of range there.
Saint fakes high and swings low for a body shot but King manages to avoid it.
King takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
King throws a sloppy head kick and Saint moves out of range easily.
King bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Saint misses with an uppercut.
Saint tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but King was well out of range. Poor timing from Saint.
King tries to bum rush Saint with a series of wild strikes but Saint uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
King fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Saint avoids it really well and circles away.
King looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Saint swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
King walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Saint fails to land the takedown.

Saint lands a lovely overhand right.
Saint throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Saint is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by King.
Saint misses with a wild body shot.
Saint scores with a nice head shot.
No joy there for Saint, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
King throws out a leg kick but Saint moves out of range and King only half commits.
King looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
King shoots in for a takedown but Saint shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damon King. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Saint throws a body punch but King moves out of range.
A head kick misses from King.
King walks into a stiff left hand from Saint.
Saint thows a left - swing and a miss!

No joy there for Saint, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Saint missing with a left hand there. King was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
King gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Saint.
Saint looks to score with a jab to the body but King is just out of range.
Saint lands the left hand.
No luck with that takedown attempt from King.
King uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Saint.
King ducks under a wild hook from Saint.
Saint throws a solid leg kick but King takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Saint.
Saint moves into range and connects with a jab.
Saint stuffs the takedown attempt from King. King gets slowly back to his feet.
Saint is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! King had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Saint keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

A jab lands there for Saint.
King tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Saint swivels and escapes.
King needs to keep his hands up - Saint had a free shot at his head there.
Canadian Saint seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saint misses with a looping left.
Saint ducks down and throws a hook to the body but King moves away.
Saint scores with a jab to the body.
A swing and a miss from Saint.
Saint throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
King fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Saint avoids it really well and circles away.
Saint lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

King shoots in for a takedown but Saint shows good takedown defense.
Saint misses the jab.
Saint misses with a body shot.
Saint misses with a two punch combination.
King slips under a jab from Saint.
Saint misses with an uppercut.
Saint takes a swing at King's ribcage but misses.
King misses with a takedown attempt - Saint sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice defenses there by King.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for King. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
King fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Saint misses the jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Canadian Saint dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Saint loads up on a big right hand but King slips the punch.

King shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. King showed some decent athleticism there.
King will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

King is working for a submission of some sort.

King is looking for a kimura but Saint is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for King to get the leverage.
King throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Saint wants to get back to his feet.
Saint is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Saint pushes King off and gets back to his feet.

Saint lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but King circles away quickly and effectively.
King slips a straight right by Saint.
Saint throws a nice looking combination but King bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
King slips under a jab.

King shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. King showed some decent athleticism there.
Saint is breathing heavily.
Saint is trying to stand up here but King is controlling him well.
Saint keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
King has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, King cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

King pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
King looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
King won't let Saint get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
King in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The referee warns Saint that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
King with shots to the head and body - Saint looks very uncomfortable down there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

King swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
