Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blake Axe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Dino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Axe comes to the cage accompanied by For Whom the Bell Tolls. The crowd seem to be enjoying Dino's choice of entrance music: RAWR. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Blake Axe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Frankie Dino! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dino dodges the punch combination from Axe.
Axe thows a body shot but no joy. Axe lands with a hook. Dino tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Dino lands a jab to the head.
Axe thumps Dino with a low kick. Axe bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The strikes coming from Axe are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Dino tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Axe presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Dino wants to control but Axe is having none of it. Axe throwing strikes here but Dino is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Dino is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Axe lands with some strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Axe looking to control but Dino is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Dino is trying desperately to improve position. Axe content just to control the position here. Dino tries to hold on but Axe pushes him away. Dino working to try and regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Axe landing strikes from the mount. Axe looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Axe controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Axe is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dino can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Axe trying to control but Dino is having none of it. Dino tries to reverse the position but Axe maintains control. Axe lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dino hang on? Dino is working to get back to half guard.
Axe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Axe controlling the position easily from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Axe unloading with bombs! Dino wants to hold on but Axe pushes him away. Poor strikes thrown by Axe there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dino blocking the ground and pound attempt from Axe. Dino is refusing to be controlled, as Axe sits in half guard. Dino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Axe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Axe is stalling here. Dino is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Axe seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dino has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Dino remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Axe wants to control but Dino postures up. Dino working the ground and pound but Axe is defending the strikes. Axe is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dino off and has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Axe controlling from mount. Dino is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Dino tries to get back to half guard but can't. Axe looking to control and managing it successfully. Axe can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dino is looking to escape.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Blake Axe just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. A chopping leg kick lands by Axe.

Blake Axe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Axe throws a combination. Dino tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Dino avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Axe will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Axe fakes the leg kick and cracks Dino in the body. Axe cracks the inside of Dino's front leg. Axe tries to clinch up. Axe clinches up with Dino and pushes him back against the cage. Dino tries to pull guard but Axe won't allow it.

Axe lands an elbow just above Dino 's eye. Dino tries to pull guard but Axe won't allow it.

Dino letting Axe take a breather here. Axe tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dino avoids it. Axe lands a good knee to the midsection. Dino won't want to take too many of those. Axe lands a body shot. Axe's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Axe lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Dino backwards. Dino tries to pull guard but Axe holds him up against the cage and eventually Dino drops back down to his feet.

Axe throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dino throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Axe sees it coming and avoids it easily. Axe is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Axe misses with a few strikes there.
Axe tries to clinch but Dino is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Axe gets the takedown into side control. Dino is looking for a sweep. Axe controls the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dino is not content to let Axe control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Axe is trying to get an arm triangle but Dino is defending well. Sloppy strikes there by Axe. Dino tries to buck Axe off but Axe is having none of it. Axe is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dino has escaped the position, nice work there. Dino can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dino wants to clinch but Axe slips to the side so Axe counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Axe preventing the sweep. Axe controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Axe pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dino is keeping the position for now. Axe is stalling in the full guard. Dino is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dino is trying to hold Axe in close to prevent damage but Axe has managed to pass into half guard.
Dino is in trouble now - Axe has advanced to mount! Axe with the ground and pound from mount. Axe pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Axe tries to control but Dino wriggling away. Dino is trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Axe looking to control and managing it successfully. Dino is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Axe controlling from mount. Dino tries to lock up and control but Axe gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Blake Axe is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Axe is in the full mount, landing strikes. Axe sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Frankie Dino has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Axe landing strikes from the mount and Dino is in trouble!
And that's the end of the fight! Blake Axe showed his dominance in that final round. Well Axe has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
