Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takumi Fujiwara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaniqua Gorbdinkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gorbdinkle is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Way I Feel. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujiwara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gorbdinkle manages to avoid it.
Fujiwara lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Fujiwara misses with an uppercut. Gorbdinkle saw that one coming.
Fujiwara keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gorbdinkle closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fujiwara is trying to control Gorbdinkle's posture but Gorbdinkle avoids it.
Gorbdinkle is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Fujiwara tries to bench press Gorbdinkle off him but Gorbdinkle keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gorbdinkle misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Fujiwara tries to buck Gorbdinkle off but Gorbdinkle is having none of it.
Gorbdinkle decides to stand back up.
Fujiwara scores with a nice right hand.
Gorbdinkle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gorbdinkle is trying to work for a kimura but Fujiwara is defending well.

Gorbdinkle slows the pace down in half guard.

Gorbdinkle is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Fujiwara is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
