Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chino Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francisco Robles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz blocks the body kick.

Robles is trying to trip Cruz. He has hold of a leg but Cruz is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Robles persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Robles decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cruz, up you get!

Cruz is trying to escape back to his feet but Robles uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Cruz is looking to get back to his feet here but Robles is keeping cool and he's managed to take Cruz's back.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Robles.

Robles throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Cruz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Robles on the ground.
Robles is looking for a triangle but Cruz pushes his legs off easily.
Robles is looking to sinch up a triangle. Cruz throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Robles's body to avoid the submission. Robles has instead reached around Cruz's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Robles arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
