Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiziano Cantamessa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petre Mikholoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cantamessa's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sacred Worlds (Blind Guardian). Petre Mikholoff has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tiziano Cantamessa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Petre Mikholoff! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mikholoff throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cantamessa was covering up waiting for the punch and Mikholoff finishes the takedown easily into guard. Mikholoff wanted to stand there but Cantamessa had control of the position. Mikholoff throws and elbow that misses. Cantamessa uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mikholoff's guard. Nice move by Cantamessa! Mikholoff managing to control the position. Cantamessa throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cantamessa decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Cantamessa blocks a head kick by Mikholoff.
Cantamessa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cantamessa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Cantamessa just misses with a punch to the body.
Cantamessa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mikholoff. Mikholoff shoots and misses and Cantamessa counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cantamessa. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cantamessa trying to control the position from guard on top but Mikholoff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cantamessa preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cantamessa wants to control from the top but Mikholoff keeps moving. Mikholoff is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Mikholoff looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cantamessa gets to his feet - Mikholoff follows without any prompting.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mikholoff throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cantamessa misses with a jab to the body
and Mikholoff counters with a big head kick but Cantamessa shrugs it off. Cantamessa tries to keep at a distance but Mikholoff has taken the fight into the clinch. Mikholoff escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mikholoff closes the distance and clinches. Cantamessa prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mikholoff tries a body shot but Cantamessa blocks it.
Mikholoff lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Tiziano Cantamessa has been cut. Mikholoff throws a punch but it's blocked by Cantamessa. Mikholoff gets control of Cantamessa's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mikholoff will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Mikholoff is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mikholoff pushes Cantamessa off and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mikholoff with a lazy takedown attempt and Cantamessa counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Tiziano Cantamessa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Petre Mikholoff. Cantamessa is breathing heavily. Cantamessa winds up and cracks Mikholoff with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Cantamessa seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mikholoff can do anything to dispel that myth. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tiziano Cantamessa dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tiziano Cantamessa's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mikholoff tries to clinch but fails miserably and Cantamessa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Cantamessa missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mikholoff wants to stand but Cantamessa is controlling the position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Cantamessa is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mikholoff keeping moving, preventing Cantamessa from controlling successfully. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mikholoff wants to stand up but Cantamessa is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Cantamessa shoots in for a takedown but Mikholoff shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Cantamessa leaves Mikholoff with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mikholoff tries to clinch but Cantamessa moves away and Cantamessa counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mikholoff! Cantamessa controlling his opponent. Mikholoff is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cantamessa working for a submission but Mikholoff is keeping him at bay. Cantamessa misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Cantamessa trying to control but he's not successful this time. Mikholoff is in all sorts of trouble here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cantamessa sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Cantamessa is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mikholoff to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mikholoff shrugs it off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mikholoff tries to clinch up and Cantamessa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mikholoff won't be happy with that. Mikholoff is trying to get back to half guard. Cantamessa looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Tiziano Cantamessa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mikholoff is trying to get back to half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mikholoff is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Cantamessa looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Mikholoff is avoiding damage well.
Cantamessa happy to just control the position for now. Mikholoff explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Cantamessa doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mikholoff counters with a head kick. That will keep Cantamessa thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mikholoff closes the distance but Cantamessa moves to the side and Cantamessa counters with a single leg into guard. Mikholoff didn't expect that. Mikholoff wants to sweep here but Cantamessa controlling him for the moment. Cantamessa won't allow Mikholoff to get back to his feet. Cantamessa stopping the sweep attempt from Mikholoff. Mikholoff wants to stand but Cantamessa is controlling the position. Petre Mikholoff has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tiziano Cantamessa is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cantamessa is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Cantamessa wants to control from the top but Mikholoff keeps moving. Mikholoff is looking for a triangle but Cantamessa pushes his legs off easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Tiziano Cantamessa showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cantamessa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
