The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villanueva shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Banks defends it nicely.
Villanueva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Banks cracks Villanueva with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Banks has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Villanueva to stand back up!
It looks like Charles Villanueva has been cut.
Banks looks to land a body kick but Villanueva moved away.
Banks sends Villanueva crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Banks is motioning to the referee to let Villanueva up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Villanueva is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head kick by Banks - that's a beauty! Villanueva is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Banks can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
