Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Trine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rice Pilaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Trine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rice Pilaf! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Pilaf. Trine is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Trine tries to bench press Pilaf off him but Pilaf keeps the position. Pilaf moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Let's hope that Pilaf has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Pilaf decides to take the fight back to the feet. Trine throws a right and a left that both miss. Pilaf is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A combination from Pilaf does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trine misses with a takedown and Pilaf counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Pilaf lands with a hook. Trine tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Trine throws a body punch but Pilaf moves out of range. Trine throws a head kick but Pilaf moves out of range.
Pilaf lands with a nice body punch. Pilaf scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Pilaf looks gassed! Trine throws a looping overhand right but Pilaf ducks down to avoid it. Pilaf keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Trine gets the takedown into side control. Pilaf is looking for a sweep. Pilaf can't do much from the bottom here. Pilaf is trying to keep from getting into a worse position than he's already in but Pilaf is working away and isn't letting himself get tied up. Trine is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Pilaf will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Trine tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pilaf can't do much from the bottom here. Trine tries to stand but Pilaf is controlling his head. Pilaf gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Pilaf slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Pilaf keeping full guard, as Trine tries to pass. Trine wants to get up but he can't break Pilaf's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Pilaf wants to stand and escape but Trine is having none of it. Trine trying to control but Pilaf is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pilaf pushes Trine off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. A nice combination there by Pilaf.
Pilaf takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Pilaf closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Trine to the mat! Trine manages to get full guard. Trine is trying to hold Pilaf in close to prevent damage but Pilaf has managed to pass into half guard.

Trine is refusing to be controlled, as Pilaf sits in half guard. Pilaf is looking for a kimura but Trine is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pilaf to get the leverage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trine wants to improve his position but Pilaf is controlling well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pilaf misses with a double jab.

and Trine takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Pilaf moves in looking to clinch but Trine pushes him off. Pilaf throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trine's waist but Trine gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pilaf off to one side. Pilaf tries to clinch but Trine is having none of it. Pilaf rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Trine moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pilaf fails to land the takedown. Pilaf defending well as Trine loads up on a big left hand. Trine throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pilaf misses with a few strikes there.
Pilaf ducks under a wild hook from Trine. Trine shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Trine. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pilaf fails to land with a series of punches.
Pilaf throws a right hand that Trine ducks under and follows up with a left that Trine also avoids with ease. Pilaf fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Trine tries a head kick but it misses.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rice Pilaf dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Pilaf closes the distance and lands a one-two. Pilaf throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Trine. Trine misses with the combination.
Pilaf feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Trine throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Pilaf won't allow Trine to sweep him here. Pilaf prevents Trine from getting back to his feet. Trine looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Trine being controlled here, momentarily. Trine keeping full guard, as Pilaf tries to pass. Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pilaf flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Pilaf holds on for dear life, controlling Trine's posture momentarily. Trine sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Trine can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pilaf is looking to escape. Pilaf keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pilaf is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Pilaf tries to lock up and control but Trine gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Trine could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Pilaf can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Trine throws some wild stikes that Pilaf manages to avoid easily.
Trine is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Pilaf is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pilaf flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Trine anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pilaf and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Trine slips an arm under Pilaf chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Trine has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Trine is squeezing on Pilaf like an anaconda would it's prey. Pilaf fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
