PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Skinny Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iron Tager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tager comes into a darkened arena with his song building. MOTOR HEAD kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tager scores with a takedown into Boy's guard.
Tager with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Tager is in close to Boy's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Boy working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tager.

Tager postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Tager drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tager jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tager cracks Boy with a solid left hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tager avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Tager throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Tager is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Boy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Boy is on top in guard.
Tager looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boy is one step ahead there.

Tager wants to get back to full guard.

Tager wants to sweep but no luck.

Boy has gone for a leg lock! Tager slips out almost immediately though and dives into Boy's guard.

Boy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tager is aware though and is defending well.
Boy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Tager looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Tager rolls, trying to escape but Boy keeps control of the position.

Boy is persistently looking for the submission but Tager is defending it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tager breaks Boy's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Tager is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Tager throwing strikes but missing.

Tager postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Boy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tager, into his guard.
Boy forces his way into half guard.
Tager is not content to let Boy control the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boy wants to pass to mount but Tager is defending the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Iron Tager will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Oh but Boy is tightening it up a little... Tager has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Tager reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Tager taps out! nice BJJ there by Boy!
