Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Rawls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juliano Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junior is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Soulfly - Brasil. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Rawls! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juliano Junior! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rawls throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Junior was covering up waiting for the punch and Rawls finishes the takedown easily into guard. Junior looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Rawls advances position into side control! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Rawls has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Rawls seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Junior for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee stands the fighters back up. John Rawls just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Rawls scores with a takedown into Junior's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rawls stands and steps away. Junior gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Rawls feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Rawls not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Rawls's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Rawls gets to his feet. Junior looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Rawls tries a head kick but it misses.
Rawls darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The referee stands the fighters back up. John Rawls just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. A big right from Rawls misses. Rawls closes the distance and clinches. Rawls gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rawls is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Junior is trying to defend but Rawls finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Rawls dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rawls decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Rawls is looking to advance position but Junior won't allow it. Rawls is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Junior doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rawls. Rawls moves into full mount! Junior won't be happy about that! Junior has given up his back. Will we see Rawls going for some submissions?
Junior is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Junior is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Junior won't enjoy being in this position. Rawls looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Junior is tapping - it's over boys! Rawls picks up the submission victory!
