Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey The Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brij Khali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khali has chosen Masters of Mixed Martial Arts as his entrance music. Jeffrey The Dude had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeffrey The Dude! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Brij Khali! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khali throws a hook but The Dude blocks it. The Dude avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Khali misses with a series of wild punches.
The Dude ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. The Dude shoots in for a double leg but Khali sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Khali throws a nice looking combination but The Dude bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The Dude connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. The Dude looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The Dude frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Dude tries to control but Khali wriggling away. Khali is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khali is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Khali regains half guard. The Dude is working for a kimura here but Khali manages to reverse the position and he's now in The Dude's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Khali has gone for a leg lock! The Dude slips out almost immediately though and dives into Khali's guard. Khali keeping full guard, as The Dude tries to pass. Khali working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The Dude doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The Dude manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Dude works a leg free and moves into half guard. The Dude wants to pass the guard but Khali is defending well. Khali blocking the ground and pound attempt from The Dude. The Dude performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The Dude tries to pass the half guard into mount. Khali knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Khali trying to hold on to The Dude's head to control him but The Dude postures up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The Dude is trying to control the action in half guard but Khali is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Khali throws a series of punches but The Dude avoids them all with ease. A telegraphed right hand from Khali misses the target. Khali looks to land a combination but The Dude avoids it well. Khali tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but The Dude was well out of range. Poor timing from Khali. The Dude defending well as Khali loads up on a big left hand. The Dude uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Khali. The Dude looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Khali jabbing away but nothing is landing. Khali throws a right and a left that both miss. Brij Khali is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The Dude takes the fight into the clinch. Khali breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Khali displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from The Dude. Khali slaps away a takedown attempt from The Dude, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeffrey The Dude. That's going to take a lot out of him. Khali misses with the combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khali misses with a hook. The Dude gets in close and instigates a clinch. Khali manages to break the clinch.
Khali throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Brij Khali is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The Dude misses with a hook. Khali just misses with a punch to the body.
The Dude avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The Dude slips a jab from Khali. Khali waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract The Dude. Khali misses with an uppercut. The Dude doesn't manage to clinch there - Khali circles away.
Khali bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Khali might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. The Dude steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Khali. Khali looks to land a combination but The Dude avoids it well. Khali is breathing heavily. Khali throws an uppercut from half a mile away. The Dude sees it coming and avoids it easily. Khali takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Khali throws an overhand right that lands on The Dude's shoulder, as The Dude tries to avoid the shot. The Dude steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Khali. Khali takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Brij Khali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A telegraphed right hand from Khali misses the target. A jab from The Dude does it's job there. Khali pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Khali misses with an uppercut. Khali throws a nice looking combination but The Dude bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The Dude lands a jab to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Khali keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The Dude steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Khali. The Dude defending well as Khali loads up on a big left hand. The Dude looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Khali keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The Dude trying to control from half guard but Khali is working away. The Dude wants to pass the guard but Khali is defending well. The Dude drops an elbow to the side of Khali's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Dude is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Khali! The Dude lands a heavy elbow. The Dude content just to control the position here. Khali wants to control but The Dude is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeffrey The Dude dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Horrible takedown by The Dude or perhaps it was just good defense by Khali which made him look bad. Khali throws a hook but The Dude avoids it easily. The Dude tries to clinch up but Khali circles away and keeps his distance. The Dude pushing out the jab but it's not landing. The Dude looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The Dude wants to control from the top but Khali keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khali bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in The Dude's guard. Khali stopping the sweep attempt from The Dude. Brij Khali has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The Dude looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. The Dude keeping moving, preventing Khali from controlling successfully. Jeffrey The Dude is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khali might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control The Dude kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Khali stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Dude swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. The Dude bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Khali throws an overhand right that lands on The Dude's shoulder, as The Dude tries to avoid the shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The Dude just misses with a punch to the body.

and The Dude counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The Dude moves into full mount! Khali won't be happy about that! The Dude avoids the attempt from Khali to control. Khali working to try and regain half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Jeffrey The Dude showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for The Dude, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
