The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ignacio takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ignacio chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cuu can pounce on him.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ignacio.

Ignacio shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Cuu is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cuu wants to stand up but Ignacio is controlling him.

Ignacio thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Cuu looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ignacio is one step ahead there.

Ignacio drops back looking for a leg! Cuu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cuu manages to kick Ignacio off! Ignacio jumps back into Cuu's guard.

Cuu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cuu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
