Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Soprano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Balboa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Soprano! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Balboa slips a jab from Soprano. Balboa with a hook. Balboa throws a jab but it's blocked by Soprano. Balboa misses with the combination.

Balboa tries to bum rush Soprano with a series of wild strikes but Soprano uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Soprano scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Balboa tries to clinch up but Soprano circles away and keeps his distance. Soprano looks to land a left hand but Balboa moved out of range nicely. Soprano falls off balance throwing a combination
and Balboa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jack Balboa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Soprano lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Balboa throws a combination that misses and Soprano cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Soprano slips a straight right by Balboa. Balboa falls off balance throwing a combination
and Soprano counters with a two punch combo. Balboa tries to clinch up and Soprano counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Balboa attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Balboa misses with a double jab.
Balboa moves away from the strike by Soprano. Balboa throws a lazy right hand but Soprano sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Soprano misses with a two punch combination.
Balboa stalks Soprano and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Soprano's face. Soprano staggers backwards, shaken. Soprano thows a body shot but no joy. Soprano throws a series of strikes that have Balboa backpedaling.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soprano throws a right and a left that Balboa avoids nicely. Soprano has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Balboa finds it's way round the side to connect with Soprano's head. Balboa misses with a jab to the body
and Soprano counters with a stiff right hand. Soprano takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Soprano comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Balboa tries to clinch but Soprano moves away and Soprano moves into the clinch. Soprano stalling.
The crowd are getting on Soprano's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Nice body punch from Soprano - that landed with a thud.

enabling Soprano to counter with a crisp jab. Balboa misses with a double jab
and Soprano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Balboa throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Soprano counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Balboa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Soprano circles away quickly and effectively. Balboa throws a predictable looking body shot
and Soprano connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Balboa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Soprano throws a series of punches but Balboa moves out of range. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Balboa showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Soprano.
Balboa connects with a good right hand that stumbles Soprano. Soprano circles away out of range and recomposes himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Soprano dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Tony Soprano showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
