The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibson misses with a double jab.
Gibson throws a right hand that Fuente ducks under and follows up with a left that Fuente also avoids with ease.
Gibson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Fuente works Gibson's body with a nice hook.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fuente.
Gibson defending well as Fuente loads up on a big left hand.
Jab by Gibson.
Gibson misses with a double jab.
Fuente connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gibson. Gibson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gibson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fuente kicks Gibson off and gets back to his feet.
A shot to the body from Gibson misses
and Fuente counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gibson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Fuente connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Gibson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice takedown defense from Fuente. No joy for Gibson on that attempt.
Gibson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Fuente lands a nice looking body shot.
Gibson is breathing heavily.
Gibson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fuente cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Fuente connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fuente connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gibson momentarily.
Fuente scores with a jab.
Fuente dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fuente takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Fuente scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Fuente bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gibson's head.
Gibson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Fuente scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Gibson is rocked!
Gibson takes one to the chin there.
Oh Gibson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fuente connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Gibson tumbling to the canvas! Fuente pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Gibson was done - good stoppage!
