And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by DoUrden.
DoUrden wants to control but Dawson is keeping him busy.
Dawson is looking to reverse the position.
DoUrden working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
DoUrden looks up at the clock and then as Dawson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, DoUrden smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
DoUrden tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no DoUrden has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
DoUrden is looking to take a break and control but Dawson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dawson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but DoUrden wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
DoUrden looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Dawson tries to improve position but can't.
Dawson manages to work his way to half guard, despite DoUrden's best efforts.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
DoUrden looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
DoUrden is controlling the pace.
Dawson looks gassed!
Dawson is staying active underneath DoUrden, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

DoUrden works his foot free and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

DoUrden with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
