Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borislav Alekseev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Sapp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Borislav Alekseev!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alekseev throws a low kick but Sapp avoids it.

Sapp scores with a takedown into Alekseev's guard.
Sapp prevents Alekseev from getting back to his feet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sapp accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Alekseev avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Sapp working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Sapp could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sapp tries to free his leg and advance position but Alekseev is retaining full guard.
Sapp has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Alekseev wants to stand up but Sapp is controlling him.
Sapp throwing strikes from guard but Alekseev blocks nicely.
Sapp working some strikes from top position.
Alekseev wants to stand but Sapp is controlling the position.
Alekseev avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sapp tries to free his leg and advance position but Alekseev is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sapp trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Sapp throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Alekseev pushes Sapp off and scrambles back to his feet.
A jab-cross combination lands for Alekseev and sends Sapp crashing to the mat! Alekseev follows him down to the mat - Sapp regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!


Sapp is rocked!
Sapp is breathing heavily.
Sapp tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Sapp flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Sapp wants to get back to full guard.
Alekseev tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Sapp.

Alekseev decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Sapp misses with a takedown attempt - Alekseev sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Alekseev throws a one two combo.

Sapp shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sapp was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Alekseev is rocked!
Sapp postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Alekseev looks a forlorn figure.
Alekseev is still in real trouble! Can Sapp finish him?
Sapp connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Sapp putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Alekseev takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Sapp is landing with some decent strikes but Alekseev is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Sapp lands a heavy elbow.
Sapp lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Sapp landing punches.
Sapp landing strikes from the mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee warns Alekseev that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Sapp is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Alekseev can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Sapp looking to finish Alekseev with some ground and pound. This is bad for Alekseev!

Sapp is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Alekseev is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Alekseev flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Sapp anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Alekseev and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Sapp slips an arm under Alekseev chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Sapp has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Sapp is squeezing on Alekseev like an anaconda would it's prey. Alekseev fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Robert Sapp!
