Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eloy Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller has chosen Bring the Pain as his entrance music. Brandon Miller is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eloy Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brandon Miller! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz slips a jab and a cross from Miller.
Miller takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Miller misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Miller throws a right and a left that Diaz avoids nicely. Miller lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diaz circles away quickly and effectively. Diaz lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Miller looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Miller misses with a series of wild punches.
Miller throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Diaz. Miller throws a right hand that Diaz ducks under and follows up with a left that Diaz also avoids with ease. Miller rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Diaz moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Miller fails to land with a series of punches.
Miller looks gassed! Miller takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Miller takes an elbow to the forehead. Diaz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Miller throws a right and a left that both miss. Diaz throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Miller tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Diaz has managed to clinch.
Miller tries to break the clinch but Diaz is controlling the position. Miller is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Diaz is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Miller gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eloy Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Diaz putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Miller in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Diaz slows down the pace here.

Diaz keeps control of Miller as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Miller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Brandon Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller tries to bum rush Diaz with a series of wild strikes but Diaz uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Diaz avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Nice body punch from Diaz. Diaz slips a jab and a cross from Miller.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Miller crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Diaz - the referee stops the clock and Miller gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Diaz. Miller manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Miller takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Diaz feints and as Miller raises his hands in defense, Diaz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Diaz works a leg free and moves into half guard. Diaz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Miller with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Miller trying to control from the bottom.
Diaz takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Diaz sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Miller defending well though. Diaz thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Miller wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Diaz trying to control from half guard but Miller is working away. Miller has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Diaz is working away from the top position though. Diaz moves into full mount! Miller won't be happy about that! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Miller wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Diaz.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eloy Diaz dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A punch combination from Miller misses. Diaz feints and then cracks Miller's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Miller down. Miller misses with a jab, cross combination.

Diaz wants to work for an arm triangle but Miller is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Miller is looking for a sweep. Diaz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Diaz wants to advance to full mount but Miller doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Diaz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Diaz passes Miller's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Diaz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Miller keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Miller's head. Diaz looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Miller is trying to stand back up but Diaz is controlling him
Diaz seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Diaz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Diaz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Miller does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Diaz throws a strike but Miller avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Diazis looking to pass into half guard but Miller pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Miller is in guard. Miller postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Miller throws a nice looking combination but Diaz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A punch combination from Miller misses. Miller throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Eloy Diaz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Diaz catches Miller with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Miller tries to bum rush Diaz with a series of wild strikes but Diaz uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A punch combination from Miller misses. Miller takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Diaz lands with a slapping head kick. Miller misses with a jab, cross combination.
Diaz turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Nice cross by Diaz. Diaz scores with a nice head shot. Diaz clinches up against the cage. Miller wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Diaz lands an uppercut. Diaz scores with a nice hook to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eloy Diaz dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Diaz is trying to drag Miller to the mat but Miller just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Diaz connects with a knee to the head.

so Diaz counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Diaz throwing strikes but missing. Diaz scoring with some ground and pound. Miller is looking for a triangle but Diaz pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Miller is looking to stand up but Diaz isn't so interested in that idea. Miller keeping moving, preventing Diaz from controlling successfully.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Diaz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Miller's calf. Miller misses with a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Miller swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Diaz counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Diaz sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Miller defending well though. Miller wants to control but Diaz is keeping busy.
Diaz looks to land a strike but Miller avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is looking to work some ground and pound but Miller has wrist control. Diaz works a leg free and moves into half guard. Diaz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Miller knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Diaz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Miller is just riding it out for now. Diaz eventually gives up the hold. Eloy Diaz is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Diaz wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Diaz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Miller's head. Diaz is just content to waste time from the top position. Miller takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Diaz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Diaz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Diaz passes easily into side control. Nice work. Diaz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Diaz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that's the end of the fight! Eloy Diaz showed his dominance in that final round. Well Diaz has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
