Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Mounds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrence Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mounds might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Automatic" by Less Than Jake. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tate takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tate slips a jab and a cross from Mounds.
Tate explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Mounds blocks a head kick by Tate.
Mounds looks to land a combination but Tate avoids it well.
Mounds throws a shot to the body.
Tate misses with a body shot.
Tate closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mounds circles away.
Mounds's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Mounds duly obliges.
It looks like Terrence Tate has been cut.
Mounds swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tate slips a jab and a cross from Mounds.
Tate shoots in and drives through. Mounds sprawls well.
Tate looks gassed!
Mounds throws a series of punches but Tate moves out of range.
Mounds misses with a few strikes there.
Mounds throws a right hand that Tate ducks under and follows up with a left that Tate also avoids with ease.
Tate avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tate looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tate keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Mounds misses with a hook to the body
and Tate decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mounds's guard.

Tate stops Mounds from standing up.
Tate with a flurry of punches that miss.
Mounds is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Tate scoring with some ground and pound.
Mounds is looking to stand up but Tate isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tate wants to control from the top but Mounds keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tate gets to his feet. Mounds looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mounds wants to clinch but Tate slips to the side
and Tate counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Mounds is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Tate wants to pass the guard but Mounds is keeping the position.
Tate is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Tate pushing down on Mounds's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Tate moves into full mount! Mounds won't be happy about that!
Tate lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tate controlling from mount.
Tate breaks from Mounds's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Mounds knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tate on the ground.
Tate has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Mounds is forced to tap!
