Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tipo Comun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Comun comes to the cage accompanied by Getting Away With Murder. Washington comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Chamillionaire-Denzel Washington kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Corey Washington will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington lands a nice looking body shot.
Washington bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Comun's head backwards.
Corey Washington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Comun closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Comun lands in his opponent's guard.
Washington is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Comun might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Comun throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Washington works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Comun throws and elbow that misses. Washington uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Comun's guard. Nice move by Washington!
Washington wants to pass the guard but Comun is keeping the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Washington dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Comun. That did some damage!

Washington shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Comun's guard.

Comun has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Washington can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Washington is looking to improve his position but Comun isn't that keen on the idea.

Comun goes for an armbar but Washington turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Washington.

Comun working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Washington doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Washington manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Washington feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Comun's calf.

Washington sends Comun crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Washington is motioning to the referee to let Comun up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
