Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Saburo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steffen Goetze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Saburo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steffen Goetze!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goetze closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Saburo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Goetze trying to control the action but Saburo is working from the bottom.
Goetze has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Saburo wants to clinch up but Goetze keeps it at a distance.
Goetze tries to close the distance and clinch but Saburo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Goetze rushes Saburo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Saburo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Goetze smiles and moves away.
Goetze throws a push kick but Saburo slaps the foot to one side.
Saburo tries to clinch up
and Goetze counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Saburo's guard now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Goetze is stalling in the full guard.
Goetze wanted to stand there but Saburo had control of the position.
Goetze drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Goetze as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Saburo screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Goetze! Nice submission victory there!
