Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vanyo Kormos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isamu Takeru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Isamu Takeru acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vanyo Kormos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Isamu Takeru! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Takeru looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kormos looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Takeru fails with an attempt to clinch.
Takeru closes the distance and clinches. A frustrated look appears on Kormos's face as he tries to break the clinch. Takeru gets control of Kormos's arms and successfully pulls guard. Takeru will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Takeru looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kormos is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kormos wanted to stand there but Takeru had control of the position. Takeru seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Takeru has a closed guard, preventing Kormos from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Takeru controls Kormos momentarily but Kormos frees himself. Takeru is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kormos wanted to stand there but Takeru had control of the position. Takeru is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Takeru lands a takedown into guard.
Takeru decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kormos, up you get! Takeru clinches with his opponent.
Takeru is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Takeru creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kormos's defenses. Takeru has picked Kormos up - he's going for a ride! Takeru dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Takeru decides to return to a standing position. Takeru fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Takeru rushes Kormos and presses him up against the cage. Takeru is trying to trip Kormos. He has hold of a leg but Kormos is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Takeru persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Takeru stands up and waves to Kormos to follow him. Kormos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takeru is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Takeru tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kormos tries to clinch but fails miserably and Takeru counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Takeru working Kormos over with knees to the body. Takeru gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Takeru is trying to control the action in half guard but Kormos is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kormos pushes Takeru off and gets back to his feet. Kormos leaves Takeru with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Takeru misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Vanyo Kormos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Isamu Takeru. Kormos scores with a shot to the body.
Takeru tries to clinch but Kormos is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takeru clinches up with Kormos and pushes him back against the cage. Takeru pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Takeru looks for a takedown but Kormos sprawls well. Takeru fails with a takedown attempt. Kormos keeps the fight on the outside. Kormos bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Takeru's head backwards. Takeru tries to clinch but Kormos is having none of it. Takeru doesn't manage to clinch there - Kormos circles away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Takeru is defended easily by Kormos. Takeru tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kormos swats him away and circles back towards the center. Takeru is looking to clinch but Kormos is avoiding it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Takeru closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kormos kicks off Takeru and gets to his feet. Takeru trying to control the position from guard on top but Kormos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kormos is looking to stand up but Takeru isn't so interested in that idea. Takeru wants to control from the top but Kormos keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Takeru is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Kormos wants to get back to his feet but Takeru is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Isamu Takeru dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kormos swats away the attempt to clinch by Takeru. Takeru tries to clinch up but Kormos circles away and keeps his distance. Takeru shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kormos sprawls well. Kormos wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Takeru gets slowly back to his feet. Takeru moves in looking to clinch but Kormos pushes him off. Vanyo Kormos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kormos throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Takeru counters with a head kick. That will keep Kormos thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Takeru doesn't manage to clinch there - Kormos circles away.
Takeru gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Takeru lands an elbow just above Kormos 's eye. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kormos wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kormos takes a knee to the side of the body. Takeru with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Takeru has Kormos pressed against the cage, preventing Kormos from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Takeru breaks the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kormos tries to keep at a distance but Takeru has taken the fight into the clinch. Takeru breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Takeru moves in looking to clinch but Kormos pushes him off. Takeru tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kormos swats him away and circles back towards the center. Takeru uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kormos. Takeru moves into the clinch. Takeru lands a takedown into guard.
Takeru tries to free his leg and advance position but Kormos is retaining full guard. Kormos pushes Takeru off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Takeru has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. No luck with that takedown attempt from Takeru. Takeru shoots in looking for a takedown. Kormos tries to sprawl out of it but Takeru keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kormos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Vanyo Kormos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Isamu Takeru. Takeru doesn't manage to clinch there - Kormos circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takeru tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kormos paws at him with a jab and circles away. Takeru is looking to clinch. Kormos moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Takeru gets in close and instigates a clinch. Takeru unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kormos lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Kormos blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Takeru tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Takeru lands an elbow just above Kormos 's eye. Kormos working hard to break the clinch. Kormos misses with a punch on the inside.
A short body shot lands from Takeru as the two fighters clinch.
Takeru jumps into guard, dragging Kormos to the mat.
Kormos stands up from guard. Let's bang! Takeru shoots for a double leg takedown but Kormos sprawls well. He's pushed Takeru's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Takeru wants to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takeru blocks a jab. A slow jab from Kormos misses its intended target. Kormos gets caught flat footed, as Takeru shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Takeru with a flurry of punches that miss. Takeru passes Kormos's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Takeru prevents Kormos from standing back up.
Takeru is looking to advance position but Kormos won't allow it. Isamu Takeru has got the better of the ground game so far. Kormos pushes Takeru off and gets back to his feet. Takeru tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kormos paws at him with a jab and circles away. Takeru tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kormos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Takeru somewhat. Takeru looks to clinch and Kormos counters with a series of strikes. Takeru will be more careful next time no doubt. Takeru moves in looking to clinch but Kormos pushes him off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Takeru gets a clinch. Kormos is trying to break free. Takeru comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Takeru lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Takeru has clasped his hands together around Kormos's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Kormos explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Takeru tries to clinch enabling Kormos to counter with a crisp jab. Kormos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Takeru ducks under a wild hook from Kormos. Takeru is looking to clinch but Kormos is avoiding it.

Isamu Takeru showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Takeru closes the distance looking to clinch and Kormos makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Takeru shoots in for a double leg but Kormos sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Takeru closes the distance and pushes Kormos back into the cage. Takeru lands a nice knee to the body. A right hand to the body from Takeru.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Takeru tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kormos avoids it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kormos tries to break the clinch but Takeru is controlling the position. Kormos blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Kormos tries to break free but Takeru pushes him back against the cage. Kormos is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Takeru breaks the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Takeru tries to clinch but Kormos is having none of it. Kormos defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Takeru. A chopping leg kick lands by Takeru. Both fighters circling a little - Takeru finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Takeru. Vanyo Kormos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Isamu Takeru. Takeru closes the distance but Kormos moves to the side and Kormos counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Takeru is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kormos postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Takeru to stand up. Kormos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kormos preventing the sweep. Kormos wants to stand but Takeru is controlling his posture from full guard. Kormos decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Takeru tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kormos throws a left and a right that both miss
and Takeru counters by moving into the clinch. Takeru creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kormos's defenses. Takeru pulls Kormos into guard.
Kormos has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kormos stands and steps away. Takeru gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Kormos throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Takeru was covering up waiting for the punch and Kormos finishes the takedown easily into guard. Takeru manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kormos is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takeru unloading with bombs! Kormos is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Kormos is squirming around, avoiding Takeru's attempts to control the action. Kormos wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Takeru is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kormos has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Takeru lands a big shot there that rocks Kormos but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Takeru lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Kormos in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Kormos really wants to buck Takeru off and get back to his feet. Isamu Takeru is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Takeru trying to control but Kormos is having none of it. Takeru might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kormos kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Takeru looking to finish Kormos with some ground and pound. This is bad for Kormos! Takeru can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kormos is looking to escape. Takeru content just to control the position here. Kormos somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Vanyo Kormos has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Vanyo Kormos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kormos throws a hook but Takeru blocks it.
And that's the end of the fight! Vanyo Kormos showed his dominance in that final round. I think Takeru has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
