Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Preuss Minotauro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luiz Crane! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Minotauro fails with an attempt to clinch.
Preuss Minotauro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Minotauro wants to clinch up but Crane keeps it at a distance. Crane keeps the fight on the outside. Minotauro throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Minotauro wants to clinch. Minotauro tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A punch combination from Minotauro misses. Some wild striking there from Minotauro.
Minotauro has closed the distance and engaged Crane in a clinch.
Minotauro working hard to break the clinch. Crane has Minotauro pressed against the cage, preventing Minotauro from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Minotauro lands a right hand. Crane changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Minotauro fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Preuss Minotauro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luiz Crane. Crane fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crane tries to score a power double leg takedown but Minotauro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Crane somewhat. Minotauro is looking to clinch. Crane circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Crane counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Minotauro! Crane throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Minotauro can't escape the position.
Crane sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Crane tries to control but Minotauro wriggling away. Crane throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Crane dominating with strikes here. A nice elbow there by Crane. Crane lands with some strikes. Crane pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Minotauro is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Luiz Crane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Minotauro closes the distance looking to clinch and Crane decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Minotauro's guard. Crane throwing strikes but missing. Minotauro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Minotauro has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Crane can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Luiz Crane has got the better of the ground game so far. Crane has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Minotauro is proving hard to escape from. Minotauro avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Minotauro is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crane keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Minotauro's head. Minotauro keeping moving, preventing Crane from controlling successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Crane shoots for a takedown but Minotauro saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Minotauro tries to clinch but fails miserably and Crane counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Crane is trying to control. Minotauro wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Crane takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Crane decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Minotauro wants to clinch but Crane slips to the side and Crane makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Minotauro tries to clinch up and Crane counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Luiz Crane is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crane thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Minotauro's head. Crane is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Minotauro is looking to improve his position.
Crane trying to control the action but Minotauro is working from the bottom. Minotauro blocking the ground and pound attempt from Crane. Crane wants to free his trapped foot but Minotauro is holding on for dear life with his legs. Minotauro wants to control but Crane is keeping busy.
Crane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Crane stands up and beckons Minotauro to join him on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Minotauro closes the distance but Crane moves to the side and Crane counters with a single leg into guard. Minotauro didn't expect that. Minotauro looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Crane tries to free his leg and advance position but Minotauro is retaining full guard. Minotauro working a defensive guard here.
Crane won't allow Minotauro to get back to his feet. Minotauro on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Minotauro tries to get out of the position. Minotauro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Crane doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Crane manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Crane trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crane trying to control but Minotauro is working from the bottom. Crane works over Minotauro with some ground and pound from guard.

Crane bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Minotauro wants to control but Crane postures up. Crane throws a strike aimed at the side of Minotauro's head but Minotauro avoids it well. Minotauro tries to bench press Crane off him but Crane keeps the position. Preuss Minotauro has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Crane is looking to take a break and control but Minotauro is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Crane tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Crane has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crane stands up and beckons Minotauro to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Luiz Crane comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Crane winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
