Jonners checks a leg kick nicely.
Assante on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Salvatore Assante has been cut.
Jonners comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jonners swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A nice leg kick lands there from Assante.
Jonners throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Assante bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jonners moves into range and connects with a jab.
Assante swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jonners counters with a lovely shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Assante throws a leg kick which misses Jonners's front leg but catches the back leg as Jonners tries to avoid it.
Jonners lunges at Assante with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Assante's hand.
Assante is rocked!
Assante walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Jonners swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
