Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Horus Ra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that James Wong was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Horus Ra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, James Wong!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong keeps the fight on the outside.
Ra drops his hands momentarily and Wong takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A telegraphed right hand from Wong misses the target.
Some wild striking there from Ra.
Wong showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ra.
Ra throws a nice looking combination but Wong bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ra misses with a straight right.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ra rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Horus Ra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooh a lovely combination from Ra sends Wong down but not out. Ra dives into side control looking to finish.


Wong is rocked!


It looks like James Wong has been cut.
Wong sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Wong is looking for a sweep. Ra is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ra stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Wong steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ra.
Ra swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wong swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ra fails to land with a series of punches.
Ra rushes Wong with punches - Wong moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Wong goes down! Ra follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Horus Ra!
