Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Muy Thai! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Johnson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Johnson misses the jab. Thai slips a straight right by Johnson. Johnson throws a series of punches but Thai moves out of range. Johnson works the jab nicely. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Johnson moves out of range of the body kick from Thai.
Thai throws a half hearted mid kick. Thai looks to throw the jab but Johnson is out of range. Thai throws a hook to the side of Johnson's head but Johnson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thai misses with a body kick. Thai misses with a kick to the body.
Johnson lands with a right that hurts Thai. Thai looks to clinch but Johnson throws a short knee that drops Thai. This one is all over!
