Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Champagne Champagne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Gently (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Champagne Champagne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dirk Gently! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gently throws a nice looking combination but Champagne bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Champagne gets a takedown into half guard. Champagne takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Gently is not content to let Champagne control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gently moves into full guard.
Champagne trying to control but Gently is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Champagne passes easily into side control. Nice work. Champagne trying to control the position but Gently is working away.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Champagne Champagne just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Gently misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gently is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Gently pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A combination from Gently does no damage. Champagne needs to keep his hands up - Gently had a free shot at his head there. Champagne has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Dirk Gently is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Champagne shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Champagne was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Champagne misses with a head shot. Champagne looking to control but Gently is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Gently is desperately trying to improve his position but Champagne has a good base and remains in mount. Champagne goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Gently is on top in guard.
Gently wants to control from the top but Champagne keeps moving. Champagne is controlling Gently's posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gently in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Champagne has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Champagne is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gently is fighting to break Champagne's control of his arms but Champagne is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Champagne manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gently manages to get himself to full guard.
Gently working for a triangle but Champagne defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Champagne tries to free his leg and advance position but Gently is retaining full guard. Champagne controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Champagne wants to pass the guard but Gently is keeping the position. Champagne is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Gently keeping moving, preventing Champagne from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gently will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Champagne walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Champagne staying out of range there. Champagne closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Champagne lands in his opponent's guard. Champagne passes easily into side control. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gently trying to remain calm as Champagne controls from the top position. Champagne wants to take a breather but Gently manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Champagne. Champagne wants to control from the top but Gently keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Champagne trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Gently manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Gently trying to control the position from guard on top but Champagne is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Champagne bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gently's guard. Champagne trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Champagne pushes down on Gently's leg and manages to get into half guard. Gently moves into full guard.
Champagne works a leg free and moves into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Champagne seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gently does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Champagne is really struggling to control Gently but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Champagne Champagne just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Champagne dodges the punch combination from Gently.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gently scores with the left hand. Champagne knows he should have avoided that one. Champagne Champagne is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Champagne dodges the punch combination from Gently.
Gently tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Champagne was well out of range. Poor timing from Gently. Gently fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Champagne throws a combination that misses letting Gently counter with a right hand. Champagne shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Champagne advances position into side control! Champagne trying to control the position but Gently is working away. Champagne working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gently prevents Champagne from improving position. Gently tries to buck Champagne off but Champagne is having none of it. Champagne wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gently keeps working.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gently tries to bum rush Champagne with a series of wild strikes but Champagne uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Champagne closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gently did well to prevent Champagne getting side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Champagne Champagne dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
A jab from Gently misses. Champagne feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Gently looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Champagne Champagne overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Champagne wants to control from the top but Gently keeps moving. Gently is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gently keeping moving, preventing Champagne from controlling successfully. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Gently missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gently stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Champagne throws up his legs and catches Gently in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Gently tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Champagne! That came out of nowhere!
