Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perry Pattenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Perry Pattenson!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pattenson blocks a head kick by Stone.
Pattenson scores with a three punch combo!
Stone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pattenson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Stone wants to stand up but Pattenson is controlling him.
Stone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pattenson on the ground.
Pattenson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stone is proving hard to escape from.
Pattenson wants to stand and escape but instead Stone has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pattenson seems keen to control Stone's posture.

Stone stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Stone throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Perry Pattenson has been cut.
A combination from Stone does no damage.
Pattenson shoots in looking for a takedown. Stone tries to sprawl out of it but Pattenson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A head kick from Pattenson lands but Stone takes it in his stride.
Pattenson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stone is fending him off so far but Pattenson persists. Nope, Stone circles away and we're back to standing.
Stone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pattenson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stone won't be happy with that.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pattenson throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Stone is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Stone parries the strikes from Pattenson easily there. Pattenson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Stone to escape.
Stone wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Pattenson trying to control the position but Stone is working away.
Pattenson throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Stone works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pattenson.
Charlie Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Perry Pattenson.
Stone moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

A right-left combo lands from Stone.
Pattenson looks gassed!
Pattenson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
That has opened up Perry Pattenson's cut even more.
Pattenson throws a head kick but Stone moves out of range.
Stone looks to land a combination. Pattenson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Charlie Stone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stone lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Pattenson is rocked!
Stone closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Pattenson out cold! Pattenson corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
