Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zoltan Hoos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McLane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zoltan Hoos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoos checks the leg kick nicely there.
Hoos looks to land a combination but McLane avoids it well.
Hoos slaps away a takedown attempt from McLane, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A punch lands to the side of McLane 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hoos misses with a two punch combination.

McLane is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hoos is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for McLane.

Hoos will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning McLane up against the cage.

McLane shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hoos as he avoids it easily.

Hoos goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Hoos is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McLane can do to turn this around?
Hoos comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hoos stalks McLane and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into McLane's face. McLane staggers backwards, shaken.

Hoos is pressed up against the cage. McLane has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hoos down to the mat. Hoos avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

McLane shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hoos pinned against the cage. Hoos gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Hoos closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hoos connects with a nice short shot to McLane's temple.

McLane is trying to stand.

Hoos takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
McLane walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
No joy there for Hoos, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hoos lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McLane has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McLane and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
