The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voller tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but GIVENS paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Voller fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with GIVENS, pushing him back against the ropes.
GIVENS breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Voller misses with a head kick.
Voller has taken the fight to the clinch.
Voller trying to stall but GIVENS improves his position.
GIVENS tries to pull guard but Voller holds him up against the ropes and eventually GIVENS drops back down to his feet.
Voller lands with a right to the head.
GIVENS prevents a takedown attempt there.

GIVENS jumps guard but Voller stands there with GIVENS around his waist. GIVENS gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Voller tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. GIVENS just stands there and leans against the ropes.
GIVENS is trying to stall.
GIVENS pulls guard effortlessly.

Voller tries to free his leg and advance position but GIVENS is retaining full guard.
Voller wants to control from the top but GIVENS keeps moving.
Voller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. GIVENS is keeping the position for now.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

GIVENS with a lazy takedown attempt
and Voller counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

GIVENS is not content to let Voller control the position.
GIVENS tries to get to full guard but Voller has control of the leg.
GIVENS is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Voller's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Voller's back!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

GIVENS wants to control but Voller is keeping busy.
What can Voller do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Voller manages to reverse the position and now he's in GIVENS's guard. Nice work there by Voller.

Voller is looking for a kimura but GIVENS is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Voller to get the leverage.
Voller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

GIVENS shoots and misses
and Voller counters with a nice double leg into side control. GIVENS won't be happy with that.
Voller content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Voller creates some space and throws a big elbow, but GIVENS sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Voller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
