Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sej Tankain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans has chosen Lithium-Nirvana as his entrance music. Forrest Evans has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sej Tankain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Forrest Evans! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tankain closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Evans is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Evans lands a hook that snaps the head of Tankain backwards. Tankain turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Tankain throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Evans works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Tankain stands up out of the half guard. Tankain really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Tankain shoots in but no luck this time. Evans wants to clinch and Tankain moves into the clinch. Tankain jumps guard but Evans stands there with Tankain around his waist. Tankain gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Tankain has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Evans avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sej Tankain. That's going to take a lot out of him. Evans tries to pull guard but Tankain holds him up against the cage and eventually Evans drops back down to his feet.
Evans tries to break the clinch but Tankain is controlling the position. Evans is working for takedown but Tankain is calmly controlling the position for now. Evans scores with a shot to the side of Tankain's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Evans can't break the clinch.
Evans wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tankain has him pressed against the cage. Evans blocks the elbow strike.
Tankain tries for a takedown. No joy.
Tankain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tankain ducks under a wild hook from Evans. Tankain will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Evans misses with a looping left. The fighters circling - Evans throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A slow jab from Evans misses its intended target. Tankain slips a jab and a cross from Evans.
Horrible takedown by Tankain or perhaps it was just good defense by Evans which made him look bad. Tankain feints and as Evans raises his hands in defense, Tankain changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Tankain is breathing heavily. Evans is looking to stand up but Tankain isn't so interested in that idea. Tankain looking to sit in guard and control but Evans gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tankain keeping full guard, as Evans tries to pass. Evans stands up from guard. Let's bang! Tankain lands with a good body shot. Evans moves into range and clinches up with Tankain. Evans wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tankain has him pressed against the cage. Tankain tries to pull guard but Evans holds him up against the cage and eventually Tankain drops back down to his feet.
Evans is looking to break free of the clinch but Tankain has double underhooks. Tankain looking for a takedown. Evans has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Tankain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tankain pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Evans. Evans waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tankain. Evans misses the jab. Evans misses with an uppercut. Tankain saw that one coming. Tankain lunges at Evans with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Evans's hand. Evans tries to bum rush Tankain with a series of wild strikes but Tankain uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Evans gets caught flat footed, as Tankain shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tankain has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Evans wants to stand but Tankain is controlling the position. Evans has a closed guard, preventing Tankain from standing up. Tankain will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Evans wants to stand up but Tankain is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tankain slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Evans wants to stand and escape but Tankain is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tankain cracks Evans with a solid left hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sej Tankain dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Evans can't break the clinch.
Tankain has Evans pressed against the cage, preventing Evans from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Evans tries to break free but Tankain pushes him back against the cage. Evans is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Evans is trying to break the clinch but Tankain is controlling him. Tankain keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Evans's efforts to push away. Tankain pulls guard successfully.
Evans would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Tankain wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tankain is adopting a defensive guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tankain trying to keep a closed guard but Evans is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Evans looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Tankain drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Tankain controls from within his opponent's guard. Tankain tries to free his leg and advance position but Evans is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tankain trying to control the position from guard on top but Evans is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tankain working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Evans's head. Tankain throwing strikes from guard but Evans blocks nicely. Tankain trying to control but Evans is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tankain wants to pass the guard but Evans is keeping the position. Tankain slips nicely into half guard. Evans looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Tankain stalling. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tankain prevents Evans from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sej Tankain dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Tankain shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Tankain content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Evans takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Evans wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tankain looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Evans won't allow Tankain to pass to mount. Evans pushes Tankain off and gets back to his feet. Forrest Evans is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Evans jabbing away but nothing is landing. A good leg kick by Tankain. Tankain clinches with his opponent.
Evans tries to circle away but Tankain has him pinned against the cage. Evans wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Tankain breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tankain takes the fight into the clinch. Tankain successfully pulls guard.
Tankain is pulling down on Evans's head. It's preventing any offense from Evans, at least for the moment. Tankain trying to keep a closed guard but Evans is proving a slippery customer.
Evans wants to stand and escape but instead Tankain has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Tankain knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Evans on the ground. Evans utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tankain looking to pass the guard. Tankain is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Tankain wants to pass the guard but Evans is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Tankain throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sej Tankain overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Tankain wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Evans tries to keep at a distance but Tankain has taken the fight into the clinch. Forrest Evans has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sej Tankain is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Evans.
And that's the end of the fight! Sej Tankain showed his dominance in that final round. Well Tankain has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
